Please help with folder structure!

I am trialling the Reference version but having problems with folder structure replication using the dynamic naming option. so far this converter is my favourite but this is a showstopper for me... Dynamic naming is no doubt powerful but also very complicated and not intuitive compared to alternate programs.

I have 100s of CDs ripped in WMA Lossless I would like to convert to MP3 and keep the folder structure

current structure:

Drive:\Music\LOSSLESS WMA\AlbumAritist\Album\filename.wma

and I want to make a new clone of all my music in MP3 format to

Drive:\Music\LOSSY MP3\AlbumAritist\Album\filename.mp3

I have tried using [TRIMFIRSTFOLDER] but cannot seem to replicate the structure exactly as its the SECOND folder I want to replace. Other programs like Switch Sound File Converter and Easy CD Extractor do it fine and very easily...

any ideas ? thanks

[TRIMFIRSTFOLDER][TRIMFIRSTFOLDER][origpath][][]\[origfilename]

And set the output folder to:

Drive:\Music\LOSSY MP3\

I've just purchased dBPoweramp and I think I have the same problem, so I'm trying to understand the syntax.
I have around 500 albums stored in WAV format with the cover art in the same folder. The hierarchy is

x:\Artist Name\Album\filename.wav

and I need to batch convert to a different drive as follows:-

e:\media\music\Artist\Album\filename.flac

I can use a DSP effect to pick up the cover art on the way.

I tried it with one album, but the files all went into the root of the target drive

Any help appreciated

Set the Output location to:

e:\media\music

Switch dynamic naming on and:

[origpath]\[origfilename]

Cool, that works

OK, now is there any way I can add ID tags from the folder name and filename? Not sure I understand the parameters in the DSP setting

Check out [Tag From Filename] utility codec in 'Codec Central'

Spot on. I guess I have to run this codec after the FLAC conversion? Can you batch codecs?
I'll try and leave you in peace now - really must read the FAQs!
