    Converting mp3 to avi

    Hi,

I want to play my music files on a DVD-RW, but in order for it to work on my DVD player I need to convert it to AVI. Is there any way to do this with dBpoweramp? I've really struggled to understand all this about codecs and correct formats.

    Thanks

Okay, can I then do something like converting to mp4, and then to AVI? Can I do that?

        Just a question:

Does your DVD player support MP3 format? Some players already do, that's why I'm asking, since AVI stands for audio and video interleaved, and it's strange your DVD to require AVI for audio-only content.

One thing you can do is to convert your files to M4a, wich DMC supports, open the M4As on a compatible converter and try some conversion to AVI. As Spoon mentioned, DMC is just designed for audio.
