    Flac to AAC IDtag issues

When I convert my FLAC files to AAC for my zune. The album artist has "name//name" with some artist & albums. I've checked over my FLAC files and they do not have "name//name" in album artist so it's the converter that is doing something weird. How can I stop this for happening?

I only ask because Zune software is very picky when it comes to album artist with different names:cry:

Are you creating .aac or .m4a?

because the former has no tagging standard.

While we are discussing FLAC tags, please also tell me why does the tag "Album Artist" appear as "album artist" after ripping a CD? In the CD ripper, it appears with initials capitalized, but it's only in the tracks properties box that it appears with all cases lower. It's not a big issue, but it shouldn't appear that way.

I am using v13.4 Reference on Vista Ultimate.

it creates a m4a file. I'm using AAC LC with CBR @ 320KB/s.

For flac tags it makes no difference.

does dbpoweramp show the correct album artist?
Yeah in ID-Tag it shows the correct information. Here is a perfect example:

Has you can see the album artist has AC/DC\\AC/DC. When I convert all my music and drag it to my zune software I get different artist like AC/DC and AC/DC\\AC\DC. Since the Zune software uses album artist to short out each artist and albums.

Is it just the AC/DC track or other album artists?

Is there anything special about those 'some'? such as they have '/' or - in the name.
