FLAC To Apple Lossless Tag Problems

I am trying to convert my Flac files which were created using DBPowerAmp to Apple Lossless. I plan to download these files to an IPOD. The sound files convert amazingly fast.

My existing FLAC file structure is Artist Folder containing Album Folder which contains the individual named and numbered track files. This folder also contains a file of the coverart . The coverart files have all been named Folder.jpg.

I am getting incomplete tag information. I only get the track titles. I do not get the Artists name, Album Title, Track Number.

I have chosen the output folder Music\Apple Lossless with a Dynamic Set as follows: [artist]\[artist] - [title][album][album artist][year][track][tag]<element>[][track_total]

In the DSP Effects/Actions I have added ID tag processing
Import and Export Album Art to and from Folder.jpg

When I do a conversion of an artist with say 6 albums I only get a coverart for one of the albums.

I would greatly appreciate any feedback on how to solve these conversion problems.

The Dynamic does not need all the tag values (unless you want then in the filename).

    Try this:

Right click on the FLAC file >> Edit ID Tags do the tags show?
if they do then remove the ID Tag processing effect and try again.

      Spoon,

Thanks for your input. I now have all of the required tag data in i-Tunes.

When I posted the question, I had not yet downloaded the Apple Lossless file to my new iPod. When I open the Album Folder in Windows I only see the track file name. However, when I move the cursor over the track file a window opens showing that all of the ID tag information is there. It also tells me that it contains the Album art which I do see in iTunes and of course in the iPod.

Thanks very much for your help on the outstanding DBpoweramp product.
