Difference between Lame 3.98.2 in 13.3 and 13.4

I was just looking at the 13.4 beta and the changes state that lame 3.98.2 in now included. However, the installer for 13.3 says it's using lame 3.98.2 as well.

Are they both 3.98.2 and just have different compiles or something?

First of all, thank you for the reply and the great app.

However, I meant to list 13.2 as the version that said it included 3.98.2

So based on the above link and the fact that my fresh install of 13.3 has 3.98.2, what does the 3.98.2 change in 13.4 beta mean?

Looking into it, 3.98.2 in R13.4 is a recompile with a new compiler which might be faster.

Hey thanks for the replies and actually looking into the question. I'm glad I picked up the family pack of dBpoweramp yesterday (after my trial ran out). IMHO it's worth every dime just to have someone actually care about their product and even respond to questions.

Hey, don't mean to bug ya. Just wondering if you ever got a chance to confirm what the difference was between the 13.3 and 13.4 of the 3.98.2 compiles.

No big deal, but since I'm re-encoding my CD's again (now with FLAC and Lame), just wanted to use the best dmc out of the gate.

It was just a recompile of lame using a newer compiler.
