MPEG Converting Problems

Whenever I convert a MPEG file (*.mpg* as well), the song's speed is increased.

I've converted the MPEG file to: Wave, Mp3 (Lame), and WMA. All have the song sped up.

What is the problem? Will it be fixed in further releases?

Ooooh! I just found a solution. I'll just save my MPG file as a movie (WMV, WMA), then convert it from there. It worked!
