SL45 mp3 player

I want to know whether it is bug from my siemens SL45 or the dbpoweramp. When I convert an mp3 file using dbpoweramp and then play the song in my SL45 the total time for the song is not displayed, but the progress bar works fine. Why this happen? When I use other software to convert an 128 kbps or higher to 96 kbps to store in my SL45 it seems ok, the total time is displayed in my SL45.

Are you creating a VBR mp3? or a mp3 with an Id3v2 tag?

Nope, I use 96kbps CBR and ID3V1. I dont use VBR because I cannot drag the maximum bitrate to lower/higher value, I can only drag the minumum bitrate. I also not sure whether my SL45 support play VBR files or not.
