Cannot get Chinese characters in Tag

I try to retrieve chinese Tag information from freedb. It showed rubbish characters instead of Chinese. I encountered no such problem in EAC. Any remedy? or any easy way I can copy the tag information from EAC to dbpoweramp while ripping?

Ironically EAC is not unicode aware but is working because someone has submitted the results in the local ansi code page, or put another way if your computers locale was not set to chinese you would get gibberish. Because dBpoweramp is Unicode it will only accept chinese in freedb if it has been submitted in utf-8, which it does not sound like it has been.
