    CDGrab having problems ripping

I've recently been having problems with CDGrab stalling when ripping songs. It usually happens towards the end of a CD and will slow down until it reaches 0.0x speed, although it will often languish at ~1.0x speed for a bit before it reaches 0.0. This doesn't happen on every CD.

This started happening after I got a new laptop - a Dell Latitude E6400.

Try ripping on burst (so without c2 error pointers) and rip to Test Conversion, if it slows down on that then your drive is doing the slow-down.

      Thanks for the tip.

I was already set to burst, but tried the Test Conversion and the same problem is ocurring. Is there anything I can do to configure my drive to stop doing this?

        No, the drive decides.
