Convert MP3 to MPX

Hi!
I'm trying to convert MP3 files to MPX. I can see that I can read MPX Files with dbpowerAMP but how to write MPX files ?

What uses mpx?

I need MPX in order to convert MP3 files and play them on my Thomson Lyra PDP2201. Unfortunetly, I'm not sure I'm able to upgrade it to ba able to play WMA files.

So I would like to convert MP3 to MPX and copy them to the memory card.

Thought so, only thompsons own program is able to create mpx files with the correct encryption needed. So wma is the only way to go.
