m4a not converting to mp3

I used the trial DMC for several weeks...installed the m4a codec and converted several hundred m4a's to mp3 with no problem...

So I purchased DMC, the registered version, R13...
I uninstalled the free version, left the m4a codec installed, then installed the registered version of DMC...

Since then I have not been able to convert any m4a's...

So I re-read on the DMC page and my understanding is that m4a comes with the R13 version, the one I paid for...

So I reinstalled R13, still no m4a conversion...

I reinstalled the m4a codec...(at least I think I re-installed it) but I still
cannot convert m4a's to mp3...

Anyone have any ideas how to troubleshoot this???

m4a does not come with R13, try clearing all dbpoweramp from the system, then reinstall:
