Unable to choose output location, buttons grayed out

Just downloaded and installed V 13.3 of music converter. When I select one or more tracks to convert from CD audio to mp3 lame, Converter closes and immediately opens CD Writer. Instead of allowing me to convert to a location on my hard drive, the CD writer is set to record a CD. The radio buttons are grayed out on CD Writer so it is impossible to change output loaction. I would like to convert all the tracks to my hard drive first then write a full CD as I have done in the past with other versions. Thanks in advance:komisch9:

use CD Ripper for reading cds.
