all media file types changed

Since I downloaded this program, all of the mp3 files I had on my computer now have a new icon (they previously had the windows media icon). When I'm in "my computer" and click on a song, windows media player used to come up and play the song. Now the files change from. mp3 to .mp3.exe files and nothing else happens. I've never seen anything like this. Does anyone out there have a clue?

Never seen anything like this before, perhaps a virus (not from dBpowerAMP though).
