Wave file cannot converted wholely

I have a 40 minutes wave file and tried to convert to mp3.
It's converted... but only transformed to 20 minitues file.
Rest is gone. I tried several time. Tried ot convert to wma.
The result was same.

What can I do?

Try playing it in another program to make sure it is ok.
