ID3 Tags converting from M4A/WMA to MP3

I'm finding that after I convert from either M4A or WMA formats to MP3 format using the LAME codec that the ID3 Tags that are created have either T's or C's that follow the tag data. Example... Artist = Hello will be HelloT after the conversion.

How do I get rid of the extra characters? I'm about to batch convert 400+ files and I'm dreading the idea of having to manually go back and fix all these tags.

Try disabling the ID Tag v2.3 Unicode tag writing option (dBpoweramp Configuration >> Codecs >> Advanced), it sounds like your player is not compatible with this tag type.

That fixed it.

Now I can convert the whole directory!!!! Yeah!
