    Help please in renaming files

I have read numerous posts and experimented unsuccessfully with a "simple" issue. I would like to batch rename filenames for about 2k cds while preserving the current four level directory structure. I would like the filnames to be: track (number), artist, title.

Somehow, no matter which "root path" and dynamic naming options I use in the "Arrange Audio" codec, I can't make this happen.

Could someone suggest what I should be doing?

    Thanks in advance.

      I tried that [again] but:

      1. My original path = I:[drive]\Lossless[folder]\Blues[folder]\Aretha Franklin[folder\Aretha Sings the Blues[folder

      2. I set "root path" as I:\Lossless

      3. Renamed files now at I:\Lossless[folder]\Lossless[NEW folder]\Blues[folder]\Aretha Franklin[folder\Aretha Sings the Blues[folder]

      4. I want to batch convert thousands of cds but have them remain in the current four level folder structure -- in other words renamed at the file level but folder location unchanged (and no new folders created).

Am I setting the root path incorrectly?

        [TRIMFIRSTFOLDER][origpath][]
        Try that.
Or just set your root path to I:.
        Either way should work.
