No playback in car CD player

After downloading some MP3s and converting them to wav files, I'm unable to get any playback on the CD player in my truck.

They are playable on my computer through Windows Media Player but no luck on the truck player.

Since I'm brand new at this program it is probably something that I've over looked, but I'm unable to find the problem. Any help or pointers would be appreciated.

I've looked through the FAQ and forums but was unable to find anything there either.

Either you wrote a data disc, or the CD player does not like the disc type used, try a different cd-r.

You hit it right on the head Spoon. I appreciate the reply. I have been using Roxio to burn them, and used the wrong application.
