    First Track Won't Rip

All of a sudden I noticed that dMC would not rip my first track of any of my cd's.  Well anyway, switching CDs didn't work, nor did reinstalling, nor did reinstalling different versions of dMC. The CDs play fine and rip fine on other rippers. I get the same message each time:

    Errors Whilst Converting:
    CODEC decompression error for '\\CdRom\Track01.cda'
Unable to read CD, scratched disk?

When I don't use CD Input then it gives me this one:

    Errors Whilst Converting:
    CODEC decompression error for 'D:\Track01.cda'
Unable to read CD, scratched disk?

Nope, the CD is not scratched. I was thinking maybe something was stuck in the registry, but wasn't sure which folder to clear.

    Any ideas?

Try putting a spin up delay in.

Nope, just tried it, but got the same result.

If I start ripping at track two, then it works perfectly fine, so that rules out that.

Oh yea, forgot to mention that. I haven't ripped for a while, but the last time I remember it working was before I installed the AccurateRip database. Uninstalling it didn't do much, though.

Install the 'Accurate Rip Test #3' version load Audio CD >> Options and press 'Reset' next to sample offset. (you have a drive that cannot read on sector before the track starts, but this is required for AccurateRip because your drive have a sample offset that direction).
