Can't Convert Aifc

I downloaded and installed the latest aiff codec, and I tried to convert .aifc files. DMC throws an error below:

Error converting to Wave, 'C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\1.aifc' to 'C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\1.wav'
Error - file has compressed audio (not supported). [clWaveDecoder::PrepareToDecodeAudio]

I thought the latest aiff codec supports compressed aifc? Here's the aifc file I was trying to convert.

It's very small 7kb. Also, I can play it with winamp.

We support the sowt format, but not aifc.

What is sowt? Is it different kind of aifc? Any plan to support aifc?

It is not currently planned to support aifc

SOWT is a linear variant of AIFF/C, typically used by iTunes.
