Music Converter ID Tags: ID3v1.1 instead of v2.3

    Hi,

Just recently upgraded to the latest registered R13 (and have tried the latest beta too), but for some reason all the tracks I convert with music converter are now being encoded with ID3v1.1/APE tags instead of just ID3v2.3. Previously (over 10K tracks so far) have encoded correctly with ID3v2.3.

I'm converting flac->MP3 using LAME, and I have embedded artwork in each track, and a folder.jpg in the input directory. I'm using the ID tag utility codec to import/export the folder.jpg so that the MP3s also have embedded artwork, and the output directory gets a copy of folder.jpg.

I've used the dbpoweramp configuration window to check that I'm defaulting to ID3v2 tags when encoding MP3.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Nick

Make the user account an administrator account, edit the settings (such as default tag to use), then make the account back to limited user (if it was limited in the first place)

      Thanks - that fixed it.

      Cheers,
