    Tag from Filename error

Sometimes I have an album, such as Film Music of Hans Zimmer, which has ripped filenames such as this:

    01 - Gladiator - Suite

I use Tag from Filename all the time on filenames like this and it works fine:

    01 - Song Title

However, when I run it on a file like the first one, the ID3 tag works for the track number but the title field only reads:

    Suite

Why is this, and how do I get the plugin to tag a file so it works as...

    Gladiator - Suite

    ...under the title?

The plugin is currently on "Back to Front" setting and has "[track] - [title]" under Tag Recognition.

    Thank you guys.

Have you tried "Front to Back" as that may resolve your issue as the codec is splitting the details on the first "-" it finds.

I didnt try that, no, because I was under the impression that its only for filenames like:

      Song Title - 08

        Did it work?

The "Back to Front" and "Front to Back" refer to how the codec reads the filename.

Looking at it another way "Back to Front" equates as reading from right to left, whilst "Front to Back" is opposite as left to right.

        Hope this helps/

Hi there. Sorry, I havent been able to try it yet. But I assume what you originally said would work, so thank you for that.
