New ID Tag feature - Also available for conversion?

Hi,

with great joy did I read that ID Tag manipulation got two new features:
ID Tag Processing: New option to set maximum album art size
ID Tag Processing: New option to force PNG album art to JPEG (internally)

Now giving this a second thought I think this only half of the way!
Why?
Being part of the DSP only one cannot use this feature for post-processing files, like changing the ID Tags of an already existing MP3 files.
For this we have the "Utility Codecs for Music Converter". But these features haven't make it there (yet).
So, any plans to update this "Codec", too?
