Batch Convert - Misses Track1 Data

    Hi,

When converting WAV to FLAC using the batch converter for multiple albums in multiple folders and selecting "Dynamic Output Location", every track 1 fails to add the correct names i.e. instead of the actual track 1 names it gives "Unknown Album", "Unknown Artist" etc.

When selecting "Folder" or "Original Folder" output options, the Track 1s are all named correctly, but of course all files end-up in the same output folder.

I have tried various naming formats (\[album]\ - [track]-[artist]-[title]-[album]... and many more) but none seem to make a difference to this issue.

    Is this a known bug?
    Is there a fix available?

    Thanks for any help provided...

    Regards

    Russell

You will find those tracks are not tagged (track 1), we have seen it many times with WAV files Windows Media Player has created (copy the track 1 to another computer, the tags disappear!)

      Thanks for your quick response.

How come the other options ("Folder" and "Original Folder)" work fine if the tracks are not tagged?
Also why do other conversion packages find the tags... if they don't exist?

Oh! and many of the files were created using iTunes and CDex... these have the same problems...

In codec central in the utility section is [Audio Info], install, right click one file >> Convert To >> Audio Info (Enable Extensive details, or similar). Post the Results here please.
