converting from apple lossless

My music library is in the ".MPEG-4" file extension as the files were imported using iTunes with the Apple lossless converter.

I am tring to convert the .MPEG-4 files to the mp3 format so the files are compress.

When I access the dmc, the file converter does not recognize the files - no files are read.

Does the dbpower software support this conversion? If so, please explain what I am doing wrong.

The real extension would be .m4a or .m4p

For the first one you have to install the M4a decoder from codec central.
