    The volume when converting...

    hi,

there is this feature in youtubedownloader, where i can adjust the loudness of an mp3 when it's converted. How can I do this with dbpoweramp?

    Re: The volume when converting...

You can adjust the volume during the conversion process using the Volume Normalization or Graphic Equalizer DSPs, or you can use the ReplayGain DSP which will cause the volume to be automatically adjusted during playback when the track is played through a player capable of reading ReplayGain tag information. The ReplayGain DSP will NOT affect the volume/loudness of a track played on a player that cannot read ReplayGain tag information. The Volume Normalization DSP does have a setting that will apply the same ReplayGain volume adjustment to the track itself (rather than writing the adjustment to the file tag - which is what the ReplayGain DSP does).

    Hope this helps.

    Best wishes,
    Bill
