    Batch Converter shuts down vista

can anyone explain this to me?.. I'll assign it a few folders and without finishing them windows will randomly unceremoniously fade to black and then the computer powers down.

it will happen when using a right click conversion on the files in an individual folder sometimes, but not consistently..

I'm at a loss to find out what's causing it... this didn't happen previously, and unfortunately I'm not sure what changed.

OK nevermind AGAIN... looks like it might be an overheating issue... it'd be really nice if computers would give you a message like "hey, in case you're wondering why I decided to just shut off, it's because I was way to friggin hot".. but no, that would make SENSE. :vmad:

Well, showing a message on the screen for a few seconds when the computer is overheating will probably result in damage to the processor, but there should at least be a message that requires accepting to continue past stating that the last shutdown was due to overheating.
