Hello! This is an old problem that still have not been solved (http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=15998)
I have mp3 files that i want to convert to m4a with Nero AAC encoder
For example here is audio properties of mp3 that dbpoweramp gives
When i convert it to m4a (Nero) all tags lost... dbpoweramp says that there is no tags in that file... winamp says the same
When i convert it to aac (Nero) i have tags, as it configurated in "dbPowerAmp Configuration" page, id3v1 or id3v2 or ape.
But if i set id3v2.3 ANSI and try to convert mp3 file that have russian symbols i have an error in the end of conversion (after that i have an aac file but without any kind of tags).
By the way it'll be better if in configuration I can chose not only ape or id3v2 or id3v1 tags, but all of them together
But major problem is that m4a files have no tags... I tried to change all kind of settings in "m4a / m4p ID Tagging" but there is no results... still have no tags.
Version of dBpoweramp is 13.2 Reference with latest codecs. I think the problem is in Nero AAC encoder, because in version of dMC r11.5 all was normally, tags are written correctly, but since version 12.3 (and in 13.2 too) you use neroAacEnc.exe to encode files to aac and m4a.
In r11.5 version there is an *.dll encoder of nero aac and all was normal
Any ideas?
