    WMA wont convert

    Hi!

I am trying to convert a MP3 File to a WMA file and i keep on getting an error message saying the program has performed an illegal operation...
When i click on the details botton in the error message window i get this:

MUSICCONVERTER executed an invalid instruction in
    module WMADMOE.DLL at 018f:08055022.

It's wierd because it worked just a few days ago and now it won't, it also still converts to the wave format.

I have tried uninstalling the entire program and the WMA codec from my computer re-downloading and re-installing them but it doesn't work.

Please help as i love your program and find it the most usefull of my music programs!

    Thanks.

Perhaps a different compression setting was set for WMA? Perhaps it is a mp3 file that just crashes wma - try one of the old mp3 files you have previously converted.

      Doesn't work

I tried changing a WMA file (which i previously converted from MP3) back to MP3 so i could do this. I got the same error message while trying to convert to MP3. I also downloaded two other MP3's to see if it was simply something wrong with the file. But they also wouldn't convert to WMA.

I don't know what else i can do!

      Please Help!!
      Thanks

Try Microsofts Converter - that error is caused by a lowlevel Microsoft dll.
