    DTS .wav to .flac error

    Howdy,

trying to convert an album to play on my Western Digital HD player, which doesn't support DTS in .wav, but does support .flac. When I go to convert it, I get this error...

    Error converting to FLAC, 'G:\Music\Eagles - Hotel California(DTS)\Eagles - Hotel California - 03 - Life In The Fast Lane.wav' to 'C:\Users\John\Desktop\Eagles - Hotel California - 03 - Life In The Fast Lane.flac'
Error RIFF chunk unknown 'þ€' [clRIFFHandler::ScanFile]

I thought that maybe there was an issue with the files, but I can convert it to a .mka with Mkvmerge, so it seems to be ok. Also when I input the file into MediaInfo I get this...

Re: DTS .wav to .flac error

Our decoders would not decode DTS, so you would end up with a DTS encoded FLAC file. Anyhow the wave file looks corrupted as there is a bad chunk in the file.
