    No artwork in converted files

    Hi Guys,
I know this has been asked before but I can not seem to convert files and get it to add album art work. Even after reading several threads relating to this and following the instructions, and several attempts the converted file properties show no artwork whatsoever.
The source folder contains mp3s and "folder.jpg" so i select all the mp3s and right click then select convert to. I set my dynamic settings to
[artist]\[album]\[track] - [title] and then DSP effects/actions I select id tag processing and under manipulation I select the box import album art from folder. The export album art from folder is set to none ( I have tried converting with several configarations of these settings but still no success).
I'm using version 13.2 with reference pack if that helps. I'm no expert, but this is stressing me out. Any ideas?
    Thanks chaps,
    Johnny D

Works for me your exact settings and test, try ripping one Audio CD with CD Ripper (so that folder.jpg is written) and then for the audio file right click >> Edit Tag and remove the album art. Then try your test on that file to mp3, does the mp3 have album art?

I am thinking it is the type of folder.jpg (if it is you can send this file to us for testing)

      Thanks Spoon,

I'll try that and let you no.

How do I send my "folder.jpg" to you for testing. I'll gladly do so if you let me know

          Hi Spoon,

Tried ripping 2 albums with cd ripper and both were unadle to find me any album art. Is it possible my settings are wrong. I have recently re-install dbpower amp having purchased it last year. I've re-registered it and have version 13.2 and registered power pack. I have dsp 4, but perfect meta data has expired. Don't know if that affects album art when ripping though, but I have mine set to find info from freedb. I'm still having a problem importing the artwork to the folder when using the converter even though I seem to have my settings correct. I have emailed you the suspect jpg as requested.
Thanks for your time so far

            Hi spoon,

Solved the import problem. I was naming my artwork 'folder.jpg' instead of plain old 'folder'. No it's recognised in the tag id. Thats sorted that problem, but i'm still interested in any info on the ripping front as I still get no artwork found when cd checked by freedb or the other data bases. The two cds were both recent ones; Duffy - Rockferry and Leona Lewis - Spirit ( Don't laugh!) as well so i'd of thought they should retrieve artwork through the freedb.
Any thoughts on this and my previous post,

            Thanks

Yes as your files were folder.jpg.jpg

PerfectMeta is required for Album Art, you will have to activate it using an order number which is less than 1 year old, or renew it for $5. The activation is here:
