conversion errors - mp3 to m4b

hi,

i´ve tried to search for "mp3 m4b m4a conversion errors" and got no results ... so i open a new thread.

i use the latest version of dbpoweramp on windows vista. did a batch conversion of several mp3 files to m4b format. it seems that all files are converted correctly but at the end i got a list with an error message for every single file like the following one:

Error converting to m4b (Audio Book), 'F:\ ... Die Arbeitswelt ist in der Krise 070821.m4b' to 'F:\ .... Die Arbeitswelt ist in der Krise 070821.m4b'
Error m4a audio file is corrupt. [clfaad::DecodeBlock]

would like to know what happened prior to purchasing dbpoweramp.

Did the files come from iTMS (itunes music store)? they could have DRM protection if they did.
