Album Art: Ripper/IdTagUpdate

Hi,

by using foobar2000 for playback i was supprised that after import of new album art with IdTagUpdate the cover become invisible by clicking the name of the album in the foobar2000 album browser and i get the information "multiple items". Bevor the import they were visible!

I checked the description of the album art and - after ripping them with the CDRipper the description was "Other" after the import it is now "Front Album Cover".

So, how can i change the basic description in IdTagUpdate to "Other"? (Or to tell foobar2000 to take advantage only from the long description).

This was fixed in R13.2 (as flac is included as default in r13.2)

Sorry, I miss-read the message, I thought the problem was going Front Album Cover >> Other.

Front Album Cover is correct, for the Front Album Cover (this value comes from the id3v2 specification), why is fb not showing when set to the correct value?

When you rip with CD Ripper the value is set to "Other", after reimport the album art with IdTagUpdate the value is now set to "Front Album Cover" AND "Other" (-> fb shows "multiple items") ? If you change the value back again to "Other" (with MP3Tag) it is shown in fb. Is it now clear?

CD Ripper in R13.2 should now rip to 'Front Album Cover', previously writing Other was a bug in dBpoweramp.

I Think it's still not correct, but today i will test ...

What can i do with the rest of media library where every FLAC older than 13.1 have the wrong cover types? I checked the following: export the cover, delete the album art tag and import again -> still the same "multiple items" in fb.

[ID Tag Update] utility codec would update to latest tags.

I checked it in [Id Tag Update]:
1. Export folder.jpg
2. Delete single tag [Album Art]
3. Import folder.jpg
-> still multiple items in fb :(

And if you look at the file in dBpoweramp only 1 album art is shown?

Yes, you are right. You see only one album art and yes "Front Album Cover" ist shown. It seems to be a bug in fb, sorry, because while it is correctly set to "Front Cover" it shows only "Other"
