    Is there a M3U converter?

    I think M3U is a Winamp?

    Thanks!

No, m3u is a playlist and dMC r12 and newer does not support playlists.

      oh!

I have another post, but I'll add it here (as did not realize M3U a playlist format).

I got a error msg when trying to convert from .asf to MP3:

      Error converting to Test Conversion, 'C:\Users\SETH-DIANA\Desktop\Replay AV\Jeff Levy\Jeff Levy May 02.asf' to 'C:\Users\SETH-DIANA\Desktop\Replay AV\Jeff Levy\Jeff Levy May 02.IGNORE'
Error opening file 'C:\Users\SETH-DIANA\Desktop\Replay AV\Jeff Levy\Jeff Levy May 02.asf' check no other program has it open and file is not protected. [clDecoder::Open]

Whats happening & is there a fix (or a codec I am missing)?

asf is a playlist like m3u and releases of dMC since r12 do not support conversions of playlists.

It's basically just a small text file (you may notice it is about 0.1% the size of a typical MP3 file) - essentially just a list of short-cuts. You can't really convert it into anything but another text file.

Just rename the playlist file to a .txt file and open it in Notepad.
Rename "filename.m3u" to "filename.txt", you will se the syntax of the playlist format.
