    Get CODEC error on conversion.

I receive a "The CODEC required to compress 'filename' could not be opened" with the Lame and Blade. I tried to install GoGo, which just crashed the application. I tried to get Blade from the Codec Central and I still get the "CODED required...could not be opened". How can I resolve this issue.

    Thanks.
    Jeff

Same problem with codec converting to WAV

I can not convert MP3 to WMA or even WAV to WMA on Windows XP

            Error Message (example):
The CODEC required to compress 'E:\KaZaA\Alice DJ-Better Off Alone.wav.TEMP.wav' could not be opened.

              >.wav'

Because it ends in /wav are you sure you are converting to WMA?

I just downloaded GoGo and it still displays the error discribed by the others here. I think this is for all codecs and i really hope there'll come a solution cause i think there isnt another good encoder around

Try converting the WMA file to wave, also make sure that 'Volume Normalize' is switched off.

                      Hi!!!
I'm in love with this Music Converter, but I think it does not feel the same to me..
For 2or 3 days it worked well(I use it to compress my mp3files...for example I encode them with a low bitrate...)
but today it starts the compression and at 7% it stops and says that "Music Converter caused an error in MP3.dll.The program will be closed"
I have uninstalled it and then downloaded it again, but it stills crashes..
                      Help!!!!

Switch off any DSP Effects, or Volume Normalize if it is on. Try different settings for Lame.
