coreconverter choose decoder by file extension

    Hi!

I have a problem with the command line converter (coreconverter.exe)
I have to convert a file called name.tmp that actually is a Dalet file (originally was name.snd) but coreconverter say
    Code:
Unable to load decoder for file type '.tmp'
If i rename the file to name.snd all goes well.

Is the converter guessing the decoder by the filename?
Is there a way I can force it to use the correct decoder?

P.S: I cannot rename the file because I'm trying to use dbpoweramp inside an application which uses temporary files called tmp.

    Many thanks

No, the decoder will only load with known filetypes (as specified by the extension).
