Audio Info codec writes the Filename with no extension!

Help! Do I really have to go through and combine the filename field and the extension field to get the whole thing? This is really painful. :( What use is a filename with no extension?

Can this be changed please or am I doing something wrong?

What are you using the filename for? something automated?

I use it in a database, along with the path information, as a direct pointer to the file. I can work around it easily enough but wondered why you left the extension off in the first place?

Most people see the tracks in windows without extension, as that is default.
