Hi. I just recently upgraded to the latest R13.2 release using Apple Lossless codec R8 and converted 2 flac files to apple lossless.
the resulting .m4a (ALAC) files will not play in Itunes, Quicktime or Torq, but will play in Media Monkey.
I know that my Media Monkey is NOT using any Quicktime components to decode the .m4a because I am using a special plug in for Media Monkey.
I think this is a serious problem if .m4a files created by dbpoweramp cannot play in Itunes/Quicktime. NOTE: when I used an older version of dbpoweramp and ALAC codec, I did not have this problem.
