    Question re: "Trim Silence" DSP

I am new to dBpoweramp and think it is a great program (I have the reference version).

I apologize if this is a basic question but I have not found any information to-date on the forums...

I have just completed ripping my library to FLAC using, among other things, the "trim silence" DSP. The default settings were a little too tight for me so I relaxed them a bit...perhaps too much so. I would like to go back and make a final adjustment to the "trim silence" parameters on several music files. I was planning on using the batch file converter function for the files in question and just adjusting the trim silence levels. The files would start as FLAC and end as FLAC. Is this the correct way to proceed? Would following this procedure in any way diminish the quality of the original FLAC file? Would the file be reprocessed in any way other than adjusting just the "trim silence" parameters?

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

FLAC is lossless so you can perform any number of trim operations without effecting the non-trimmed data.
