FLAC to AAC or MP3 messes up tags

When converting from FLAC to AAC or MP3 and the artist tag has a slash in its name (AC/DC), the slash is changed to a backslash (AC\DC) for some reason.

    Is this intentional?

The / is used on these formats for seperating 2 artists, so AC/DC would be an artist AC and artist DC

Hmm, seems so, although iTunes doesn't adhere to that. It just lists them as artist "AC/DC" which is what I really need so I'll just rename them manually.
