verry slow for convertion

Hy every one

I install the converter audio file programm, for convert audio file from .ra (real audio) to .wav (wave) .

The computer what I used, is pentum 900MHz 340 m ram and I just run the converter programm, and I dont used the power pack, on win 98


When I try to convert the file, the programm are realy slow to convert the file. the original file in .ra are 59 minutes long and for convert them I need 62 minutes, .......

I just install the codec what I need for run the programm

How is possible boost this programm?? for the conversion make more faster.

It converts at the same speed it plays (ie x1), I am slowly working on a new RA codec.
