popup info gone

Hi guys, my issue is the following:

My popup info for music files is gone.
The reason might be that I had done a cleanup with Uniblue Speedupmypc. Anyway I dunno how to reset this. I uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled even twice.

Could you please give me any advice?

Check that the option to show popup information is enabled in dBpoweramp Configuration, also hold hte mouse over a text (.txt) file, if there is no popup then all popups on the system are disabled.

Well, you actually helped me out!

I did some tweaking in the registry with some help from the web:

http://personal-computer-tutor.com/abc4/v33/vic33.htm (I did it backwards: I set the ShowInfoTip value to 1 as it had been set to 0.)
