    Problem with Flac -> Alac

    Hey all

    Dbpower amp isnt working well for me recently, when i try to covert my .flac files into apple lossless (alac) it would freeze at "verifying written file" and the encoding speed would continue to go down indefinitely, the program isnt frozen, but it is unable to close.

    Any help would be much appreciated
    Thx

    Edit: this also happens with all the other file types, i have tried m4a and mp3, but instead of verifying written file it just gets stuck right at the start, and the time for conversion starts going up indefinitely

      Are these files on a local hard drive, external drive, or a network drive?

        Hey, thx for the response

        @Wayne
        Just tried wav and it works fine, but the other formats still get stuck

        @LtData
        The files are on local hard drive

          What dsp effects (as part of the conversion) if any are you using?

            i am not using any effects at all

            Edit: i got it fixed, it seems that the problem was Windows 7 build 7000, it was buggy, with the build 7048 dbpower amp works fine

              You should have mentioned that you weren't using WinXP or Vista.
