Re-tagging flac files

Is there any way to add some tags to flac files using dmc? I have a modest library of flac files which I would like to apply ReplayGain tagging to. Now I know I can do this with dmc but I would also like to add a tag for the track length while doing the ReplayGain tagging. Specifically I would like to add a tag to the flac file which would report the length of the track in sss.mmm format (where sss = seconds and mmm = milliseconds). Is this possible?

Also can anyone give me some pointers on how to get the best results from the ReplayGain feature (ie. how to get album gain to span multi-discs where appropriate).

Not automatcially (set the length to a tag).

Album gain would have to be done manually if you wanted it to span multi disc albums, but AFAIK no one does this.
