Neither coverter or cd writer recognise *.flac files

After a HD reformat I've updated and installed the lastest versions of dBPoweramp. Before the reformat DBPoweramp writer would recognise, convert and burn music CD's from *.flac files.

Now neither music converter or cd writer even recognise *.flac files.

I've tried downloading & installing the flac codec from Codec Central, but I'm told I already have the same codec installed (5.3). When I uninstall the existing codec and install the newly downloaded codec I get an error telling me that this codec won't work with versions R12 and above.

So ... I've run out of ideas and hope someone here will know how to solve the problem.:komisch12

Please ignore my previous post. I've solved the problem by uninstalling a previous codec release (5.3) and installing the correct codec release (13.1).
