    FLAC with ID3 tags

In dBp Configuration under Codecs -Advanced Options - FLAC Id Tagging, ID3v2 is "not recommended". Why not?

    Thx

    Re: FLAC with ID3 tags

flac uses vorbis tags, while some applications can read id3 tags in flac, others can not and will give errors, most notably the flac.exe encoder/decoder executable will return errors with id3 tagged flac files.

      Re: FLAC with ID3 tags

FLAC files are supposed to have Vorbis Comments as the tags. There are a few applications that only want ID3v2 tags in FLAC files, but nearly all of them wants Vorbis comments.
