I have an Ipod.. what's the BEST QUALITY way of converting LOSSLESS to iTunes????

Please let me know. I'm a bit of an audiophile and this is driving me insane, what apple has done with this very average audio reproducer aka Ipod. I have a 120 gb Ipod, I'm not an idiot, and I've been using dbpoweramp to convert lossless files but I'm not sure I'm doing it the best (LEAST LOSSY) way- please inform!!!! Thanks!

PS I'm talking about FLAC........... Is there a FLAC to Apple Lossless?? Is that the best way?? Thanks again! I registered to ask this very question!!

320kbps m4a or just convert to Apple Lossless (ALAC)
