Vista 32/64 bit system, SP1
I have DBP11.5, 12, and 13.1.
New sound card is an Audigy SE (Previously an Audigy ZS).
New PC = new sound card.
With DBP 11.5 and 12, I had Auxiliary set to "What U Hear".
This option is not available in Vista (at least, i can't find it).
Under the control panel>sound>recording I have the sound blaster enabled and the speakers enabled. Can get
playback sound with creative player and winamp.
The DBP Auxiliary>options choices are:
Default
Auxiliary SB Audigy (shows as "Working")
S/PDIF-in SB Audigy (shows as "Currently unavailable")
Microphone SB Audigy (shows as "Currently unavailable")
Line-In SB Audigy (shows as "Currently unavailable")
I tested all the above using the Test Recording Level in the
Aux but the VU Meter shows nothing and meter level scale
is greyed out.
Vista recording options are:
Digital Output Device (HDMI)
Speakers, SB Audigy
Digital Audio Interface
All above are shown as "Working"
Problem is: will not record using the Auxiliary program.
Question is: What settings do i need (in Vista) to get the Auxiliary program working again?
thank you,
savagcl
