Using Lame 3.96 with R13

I've recently downloaded the R13.1 trial but because Lame 3.98 Mp3 files at 64kbps are stuttery in a Flash player I need to use the Lame 3.96 codec to convert my files.

Where would I get Lame 3.96 and how would I install it so that I could encode files using R13.1

How is 3.96 any different to 3.98? AFAIK they would be both the same at said bitrate.

The above details the issue. Seems only to happen with 3.89

Try the Fraunhofer mp3 codec.
