Why can´t I decode AC3 with dBp?

Dear all,

I downloaded and installed DirectShow- and AC3-Codec, nevertheless, when I open Music Converter, I can´t see the Codec and I can not convert AC3-files with it.
What is the trick?

Open dMC Configuration to see whether your DirectShow decoder recognizes the AC3 codec. I assuime it will not and that you will need to configure your DirectShow decoder to recognize the AC3 codec. You will find directions for doing this in the Help file for the DirectShow decoder.

If that does not work, please let us know.

Note that if you are using dMC r12 or higher, you are looking for "dBpoweramp Configuration". See "Need to find your version?" below in my signature if you don't know where to find it.
