FLAC to ALAC: Replay Gain Values

The following would be really great to have:

Input: FLAC files with values for album and track replaygain
    Output: ALAC/AIFF files.

    Having a codec which:
    - creates the iTunNorm tag in the ALAC/AIFF files
    - converts(?) and writes the replay gain values (read from the FLAC files) into the iTunNorm tag. The iTunes option "adjust volume" would then use the replay gain value and not some crappy iTunes internal algorithm.

I know there is a standalone application (iVolume) to do this. I bought it. It works for most ALAC files (sometimes a bit buggy, errors in ca. 500 cases out of 27000)
It does not work for 24/96 AIFF files
It is slow, i.e. takes twice the time of evaluating replaygain values in foobar2000.

don't know about ALAC files, but mp3tag can do this with an action. I convert all my albumreplaygain values to itunesnorm on my mp3 or aac files before I import them into itunes (for loading on my ipod)

This should be a very handy feature. Now if I convert to ALAC for Itunes, I don't get any ITunNorm tags. Will this be a future feature?
